Salicylic acid is a BHA that works inside the pore to loosen build-up and help prevent breakouts.

I have melanin-rich skin — how should I use this?

Go slower rather than stronger. Irritation is what triggers dark marks on melanin-rich skin, so a product bought to fade them can create them if it is pushed too hard. Start a couple of times a week, build up only once your skin stays comfortable, and wear sunscreen the next morning. A higher percentage is not an upgrade.

How to use

Step 1

On a clean & dry face, apply the peeling solution no more than twice a week in the evening. Leave it on for no longer than 10 minutes.

Step 2

Use Creamy Cleanser with lukewarm water to clean the peeling solution.

Step 3

Apply Ceramide + HA Intense Moisturizer after 15 minutes.

Step 4

Post moisturization, apply sunscreen. Do not step out in the sun without sun protection.

First Experience

Tried the 30% peeling solution for the first time. It has a slightly odd smell, likely from the active ingredients. I felt some stinging around the nose area and noticed mild redness during use. After rinsing, my skin felt soft, though there was a light burning sensation that lingered for a bit. Overall, an okay first experience.

Good product

First application was a little itchy but let my skin smooth. At my second application i love it. The skin is smooth and make sure to apply sunblock and stay out of sun.
