A gentle foaming gel cleanser from Slick Gorilla's skincare range. It deep-cleans pores and lifts daily build-up without stripping the skin — it rinses clean and leaves skin comfortable rather than tight.

What it does

  • Salicylic acid (BHA) — works inside the pore to loosen build-up and help prevent breakouts, and helps regulate excess oil.
  • White willow bark — a natural source of salicin that supports gentle exfoliation and helps calm skin.
  • Glycerin — draws in moisture so skin does not feel tight after washing.
  • Aloe vera — soothes and refreshes while you cleanse.

Who it suits

All skin types, including easily-irritated skin. Particularly useful for oily and combination skin, clogged pores and visible shine. Fragrance-free and dermatologically approved.

How to use

Wet your face, massage a small amount over the skin and let the foam work into the pores. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry.

Using an acid on melanin-rich skin

This is a rinse-off cleanser, so it is far gentler than a leave-on acid — but salicylic acid is still an active. If your skin runs easily irritated, start every other day and build up to daily only once your skin stays comfortable. Irritation is what triggers dark marks on melanin-rich skin, so going slower is genuinely better than going stronger. Salicylic acid also increases sun sensitivity: wear sunscreen the next morning.
