Pure vitamin C plus a vitamin C derivative, working on dullness, uneven tone and the look of fine lines. Glutathione sits alongside them on pigmentation.

The texture is a light gel cream rather than the oily or stinging vitamin C people remember, and panthenol and allantoin keep irritation down. At 10ml it is the size to start on if you have not committed to a vitamin C before.

If your skin is melanin-rich, go slower rather than stronger. Irritation is what triggers dark marks, so a product bought to fade them can create them if pushed too hard. Build up only once your skin stays comfortable, and wear sunscreen the next morning — a higher percentage is not an upgrade.
