Why is Mandelic Acid Perfect for Deeper Skin Tones?
Whilst most products can be used across multiple skin tones successfully, when it comes to acid exfoliators, more care should be taken on deeper skin tones as overuse of strong acids can result in hyperpigmentation.
This AHA has a larger structure compared with acids like glycolic acid and lactic acid, so it's absorbed into the skin at a slower rate – this means reduced irritation and less risk of hyperpigmentation.
